Booking

Should you wish to book either of the cottages, just send us an email with the dates you require and we will get right back to you.

Arrival and Departure

The cottages will be available for occupation after 3.00pm and must be vacated by 10:00am on the departure day to allow time for cleaning for our next guest's arrival. It is sometimes possible to allow an earlier arrival time, please don't be afraid to ask.

Payment

A deposit of the greater of £50 or 25% of the cost of your holiday  must be received within 7 days of making a booking - if we haven't heard from you in this time we might accept an alternative booking.

The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Payment can be made by:

• cheque (£s only please) made payable to Mrs.T. Boulden and sent to 5 Lakelands, Wingerworth, Chesterfield. S42 6XJ
• PAYPAL. A 3.4% transaction charge will be added to your booking if paying by paypal.  This does not include overseas customers.   

Please do not send any payment, especially by Paypal, until you have had your booking agreed by us.

Extra Charges

The accommodation fee includes towels, bedding, linen, heating, electricity and even a  quantity of kindling and logs for the fire in Toad Cottage.  

There are only two additional charges:

• A single well behaved dog is welcome by prior agreement only and at a charge of £20 a time.
• The accommodation in Toad Cottage is for 4 persons. There is however a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge to allow 2 extra persons to stay, for which there is a charge of £20 per person.
• The accommodation in Oaker View is for 2 persons. However we can put a very comfortable occasional bed in the lounge to allow an extra persons to stay, for which there is a charge of £20 per person.

Cancellation  

We do not provide cancellation insurance cover. The deposit is non refundable but might be refunded at the discretion of the owners if the cottage is re-let.
